MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Oncology specialty for a travel nursing assignment in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Qualifications
Active RN License
Degree from accredited nursing program
BLS & ACLS Certifications
At least eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting

Duties & Responsibilities
The Oncology RN will care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients, administer chemotherapy, implement new methods of symptom treatment and monitor patients’ progress, and create a supportive environment. Oncology nurses may also specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.
Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, focusing primarily on the acute phase.
Assist patients ranging from post‑surgical to near‑terminal in managing their disease and treatment effectively, including chemotherapy administration.
Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures, and disease specifics.
