nThis oncology nurse position involves providing specialized care in an outpatient oncology clinic, focusing on chemotherapy infusions and port draws. The role is ideal for nurses with experience in oncology and infusion services, offering an opportunity to join a supportive team environment with a focus on patient-centered care.
nJob Details
nnCertifications: BLS, Oncology Certified (ONCC or ONS)
nEducation Requirements: Relevant nursing degree, active state license, and at least 1 year of clinical experience in oncology or infusion nursing.
nSchedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
nExperience Requirement: At least 1 year of experience in oncology or infusion nursing.
nResponsibilities include administering chemotherapy, monitoring infusion processes, caring for ports, and managing other aspects of oncology patient care.
nFamiliarity with Alaris Infusion Pumps and CADD Ambulatory Pumps is required.
nEPIC electronic charting system experience preferred.
nCandidates should be flexible to work shifts between 7:45 AM 6:00 PM, depending on the schedule.
nSubmission of two references covering at least one year within the past three years is required during the compliance process.
nCandidates must include responses to specific screening questions regarding previous work at a Providence facility, and be prepared for potential floating between nearby facilities if needed.
