Carenest Health Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Johnson City, New York.

PAY:
Local Pay - $80 to $84/hr on W2.
Travelers Pay:
Taxable Amount - $50.5/hr on W2
Lodging Stipend - $900 weekly
Meals Stipend - $507 weekly
Weekly Gross - $3,225 weekly including stipend for 36 hours.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - RN-Oncology
Location - 33-57 Harrison St, Johnson City, NY 13790
Duration - 13 weeks contract
Shift - 7pm-7am, every other weekend
Weekly Hours - 36 hours
Unit needs travelers who are able to hang chemotherapy from day 1
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provided comprehensive nursing care to oncology and hematology patients throughout treatment.
Administered and monitored chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive medications per protocol.
Assessed vital signs, symptoms, labs, and treatment response; monitored for adverse reactions and complications.
Managed PICC lines, ports, central lines, and IV therapy, including access and maintenance.
Provided pain and symptom management, including nausea, fatigue, and other treatment-related side effects.
Educated patients and families on treatment plans, medications, side effects, and infection precautions.
Collaborated with oncologists and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate individualized patient care.
Documented assessments, treatments, medication administration, and patient response accurately.
REQUIREMENT:
3+ years of oncology experience required.
Med/surg tele background
New York RN, BLS, ACLS, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required.
