Contract | Days (6:45 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13 Weeks | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Administer intravenous treatments to a varied patient population within a large outpatient infusion center setting
Provide oncology nursing care including chemotherapy administration in accordance with established protocols
Monitor and assess patients receiving infusion therapies, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient treatment plans
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using electronic health record systems
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Oncology nursing
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Chemotherapy certification required
Experience with Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) required
Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in a high-volume outpatient infusion center environment
Familiarity with a broad range of intravenous therapy protocols and oncology treatment regimens
