TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified OR RN in Wausau, Wisconsin, 54401!

Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 8-hour variable shifts with a mix of 0700–1530, 0900–1730, and 1100–1930 | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide perioperative nursing care as a circulator on the General OR Team within a high-volume operating room environment averaging 40–60 cases per day across 21 ORs
Circulating is required ; scrub role is preferred in addition to circulating
Utilize Da Vinci Robotic systems and apply Trauma Level II experience in applicable surgical cases
Float to satellite facilities as needed
Participate in on-call rotation, including 6–8 weeknight call shifts and 1–2 weekend call shifts during the 13-week contract; must be ready and in the OR within 30 minutes of callback; callback minimum is 2 hours
Adhere to facility infection control policies, including mandatory masking requirements for staff who decline flu and COVID vaccinations during flu season
Required Qualifications
Active Wisconsin RN License required
AHA BLS Certification required
ACLS Certification required
Minimum 5 years of OR experience, including at least 1 prior travel assignment
Experience in a larger facility with a comparable OR volume (20+ ORs)
Da Vinci Robotic experience required
Trauma Level II experience required
Personal vehicle required; must not rely on rideshare services due to on-call responsibilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
Scrub experience in addition to circulating
Experience with Epic EMR
Surgical specialty experience in General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, or GI
Flexible, resilient, and adaptable candidates with a strong work ethic who are comfortable with downtime tasks and managing change in a fast-paced environment
