Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR Circulate for a travel nursing job in Cortez, Colorado.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
Call: Required 7-12 days per month, including Friday and weekend coverage

Position Overview
Seeking an experienced RN who can independently perform both Operating Room circulator and PACU responsibilities . The nurse will provide safe perioperative and post-anesthesia care across diverse age groups while working closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers and the multidisciplinary team.
Required Experience
Operating Room circulating experience
PACU experience
Trauma experience
Colonoscopy and EGD procedure experience
Procedural sedation competency
Telemetry monitoring and basic arrhythmia interpretation
Ability to respond to rapid changes in patient condition
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Associate degree required; BSN preferred
License and Certifications
Active Colorado RN license or compact RN license
Travelers using a compact license must obtain a Colorado license within 90 days
Current BLS
ACLS required within 6 months of hire
PALS required within 6 months of hirePALS may be completed at the facility
EKG course required within 4 months of hire
Clinical Responsibilities
Circulate surgical procedures and provide PACU care
Complete patient assessments and individualized plans of care
Assist physicians during procedures
Administer medications using barcode scanning and eMAR
Monitor patients receiving procedural sedation
Recognize complications and initiate appropriate interventions
Maintain sterile technique, infection-control standards and patient safety
Provide advanced cardiac and respiratory monitoring as appropriate
Supervise and delegate care to support staff
Assist other hospital departments when requested
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Additional Details
The RN must have strong critical-thinking, communication and organizational skills. Flexibility is required to accommodate departmental staffing needs, call responsibilities and changing workloads.
