Job Summary
The Operating Room (OR) Nurse is a licensed professional working in a healthcare facility in Temple, TX. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a Level 1 trauma environment, supporting various surgical specialties including trauma, general, gynecology, orthopedic, transplant, and urology. The OR Nurse will be responsible for delivering safe, patient-centered care during night shifts, ensuring smooth surgical procedures and optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
Certifications: RN, BLS, with at least 2 years of experience in a Level 1 trauma facility with trauma, general, gynecology, orthopedic, transplant, or urology experience
Education: Valid registered nursing license required
Location: Temple, TX
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from November 2, 2026, through January 31, 2027
Responsibilities include conducting accurate assessments, developing and evaluating individualized care plans, supporting evidence-based practice, and facilitating effective teamwork in a surgical environment.
Scrubs are provided.
Patient ratio: 1 to 1.
Candidate must be available for weekend shifts, with weekend work required for one of the shifts.
