Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)nn
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position involves providing high-quality care within the surgical environment, primarily focusing on orthopedic procedures, total joints, fractures, gynecological surgeries, robotic surgeries, urology, general surgery, ENT, and orthopedic spine cases.
Key Responsibilities
n Assist with surgical procedures by preparing and managing the operating room environment.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
Maintain infection control standards and adhere to surgical protocols.
Collaborate effectively with the surgical team, including surgeons and anesthesiologists.
Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after surgery.
Document patient care and progress in compliance with standards.
n Qualifications
n Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferred.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Epic.
Prior travel nursing experience is required.
Competency in all listed surgical specialties: orthopedic, total joints, fractures, gynecological, robotic, urology, general, ENT, and orthopedic spine.
n Work Schedule
nThis position requires a 10-hour day shift, including call responsibilities. Expect to fulfill 2 to 3 twelve-hour call shifts within a six-week period.
All candidates must adhere to a 200-mile radius rule for submissions. Any requests for time off or scheduling must be included at the time of submission, as changes will not be accommodated after that point.
