Job Summary
nOperating Room Nurse Location: unspecified. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care within the operating room environment. The role requires coordination during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and supporting surgical teams with scrub and circulating responsibilities. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, contributing to patient outcomes through expert clinical practice.
nJob Details
nnPosition Description: Orientation dates are scheduled for 10/5, 10/19, and 11/2, occurring every other week on Mondays, unless otherwise posted. Prior travel experience is required for all positions. The role involves working 10-hour day shifts from 6:45 am to 5:15 pm, with up to three call shifts per week, including weekend rotations.
nRequired Qualifications: Two years of experience in the operating room specialty, active VA or Compact License, BLS certification, and scrub and circulate experience.
nSchedule: Day shift, 10 hours, minimum of 40 hours per week.
nAdditional Information: The facility is a teaching hospital with frequent interactions with students and new hires. All team members are expected to contribute positively to a supportive culture, especially in interactions with educational staff. All required RTO must be submitted with the application, and all declinations for Covid-19 and influenza vaccines are accepted.
nSubmission Requirements: All candidates must have all RTO (Request for Time Off) information included at submission.
