nThis position involves providing specialized nursing care within the operating suite, assessing, planning, and delivering quality patient care during surgical procedures. The role requires collaboration with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout perioperative care.
nJob Details
nnPosition Description: This role assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. It is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their supervision, utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary for perioperative patient care.
nRequired Qualifications: Current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, no minimum years of experience required, location in the Operating Room specialty, Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours, 40 hours per week.
nPreferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Professional certification preferred.
nAdditional Information: The role involves providing care based on best evidence and participating in unit or facility shared leadership. The nurse interacts with all levels of staff, physicians, and patients, emphasizing communication and collaboration for patient safety and care excellence.
