Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN OR Circulator for a Surgical Services position requiring CA RN licensure and 2-3 years of OR experience.
Details
Works within the Surgical Services Department providing professional nursing care to patients across the age spectrum
Supervises and coordinates care planning with other disciplines
Day shift schedule, 4x10s from , Monday through Thursday
On-call responsibilities required
Frequently uses computers, monitors, glucometers, IV/PCA/epidural pumps, and blanket warmers
Requirements
Active California RN license required
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2-3 years of OR experience required
Current BLS certification through American Heart Association, recertified every two years
ACLS certification required within six months of employment, recertified every two years
CNOR, PANAC, or AAOPU credentials preferred
No prior adverse license actions permitted
Additional Information
Provides circulating nursing care in the operating room setting
Part of the Adventist Health network
Must comply with HIPAA and other confidentiality regulations
Category 1 potential exposure to blood and body fluids
Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
Can only be actively submitted to one hospital within the Adventist Health system at a time
