Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York.

Shift Details
nMonday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with weekend, holiday, and call responsibilities.
Contract Length
n13 weeks
Qualifications
n Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
n Experience
nPreferred candidates will have the following:
n Preceptorship, charge, and leadership experience.
Thorough knowledge of nursing principles, with the ability to provide high-quality patient care and assess clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs of patients.
Familiarity with typical clinical equipment and instrumentation in an operating room or ambulatory surgery unit setting.
Ability to recognize safety issues for self and others and safely utilize lifts for patient mobility.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to function well in stressful situations.
n Skills
n Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Leadership skills with the capacity to prioritize and delegate effectively.
Ability to interpret lethal dysrhythmias.
n Responsibilities
nMay involve assuming responsibilities as a charge nurse.
On-Call Requirements
nMust be available for on-call duties with a response time of 30 minutes.
