Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York.

Job Summary

nProvide quality patient care in the Operating Room (OR) settingnn
nAssess patient needs including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspectsnn
nUtilize knowledge of nursing principles and clinical equipment/instrumentation used in OR/ASUnn
nRecognize and address safety issues for self and patients, including safe patient movementnn
nFunction effectively in high-stress situations and demonstrate strong problem-solving skillsnn
nDemonstrate strong leadership, prioritization, and delegation abilitiesnn
nMay assume responsibilities as a charge nurse as needednn
nExhibit excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skillsnn
nInterpret lethal dysrhythmia and respond appropriatelynn
nParticipate in on-call rotation with 30-minute response timenn
nWork 8-hour day shifts (7a-3:30p) with required weekend, holiday, and call coveragenn
nMaintain current NYS RN license and BLS certification (ACLS preferred)nn
nPreceptorship, charge, and leadership experience preferred for experienced RNsnn
nAdhere to policies and standards for patient safety and aseptic technique
Med Ninjas Job ID #16903. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
