We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This is a dynamic opportunity for professional growth and development in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview
nThe Registered Nurse will provide high-quality surgical nursing care to patients undergoing various procedures in the Operating Room. The role includes engaging with patients and their families, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring a safe and effective surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities
n Assess and monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgery.
Implement and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Administer medications and assist with anesthesia as directed.
Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during procedures.
Provide education and support to patients and families regarding post-operative care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with policies.
n Qualifications
n Current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts (or conditional license).
Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Current certification in NIH Stroke Scale (NHISS).
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Flexible to meet the demands of on-call responsibilities.
n Shift Details
nThis position offers a Day shift schedule of 4x10 hours, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
