Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse (Trauma) – Texas
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Amarillo, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts ), with on-call rotation as needed for trauma coverage including evenings, nights, and weekends. Holiday call required.
Highlights:
Trauma experience required with focus on circulating OR responsibilities
Monday-Friday core schedule with variable on-call shifts to support trauma services
On-call coverage includes weekday evenings , ) and weekend shifts , )
Holiday call rotation includes Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve night, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve night, and New Year's Day
Collaborative surgical team environment with comprehensive intraoperative patient care
Candidates must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility location
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
Current RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly desired
Minimum 3 years of operating room experience required
Trauma OR experience required
Current PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
Experience with circulating and scrubbing duties for operative procedures
