Job description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Ortho
The RN Orthopedics (RN Ortho) provides care to patients with musculoskeletal issues, including fractures, joint replacements, and spinal surgeries. This role involves pain management, mobility support, and post-surgical rehabilitation guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient conditions, focusing on orthopedic and mobility concerns.
Administer pain medications and monitor patient responses.
Assist with rehabilitative exercises and mobility training.
Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and case managers.
Educate patients on wound care, cast care, and post-operative exercises.
Document patient progress and outcomes accurately.
Work Environment:
Orthopedic units or rehabilitation centers.
Requires strong teamwork and communication with surgical and therapy teams.
