Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse located at the healthcare facility in a specified location. This role involves providing post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring patient safety during recovery. The position requires active engagement with clinical procedures and coordination within a multidisciplinary team.
Job Details
Position Description: PACU RN
Certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS
Education & Experience: Valid RN licensure within the state, current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, and 0 years of experience required.
Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 30 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications, Epic experience, and at least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, community hospital experience, and LTAC experience.
Additional Information: Experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, airway assessment, and post-operative patient management is preferred. Proper documentation of certifications and licensure is required.
Submittal Requirements: Candidates must upload validated licensure, certifications, and references as per protocol. All compliance documents are due at least 10 days prior to the start date.
