Job Details:
Job Title: PACU RN - Registered Nurse
Location: Winchester, VA
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: .67
Schedule: 06:15 - 16:45 (Varied, 4x10s shift)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: Must have 2+ years of Pre-Op, Post-Op and PACU experience with children. Epic a must. ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA) & VA State License or Compact
Responsibilities:
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for pediatric patients undergoing procedures in the PACU
Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical changes promptly
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed in accordance with hospital protocols
Document patient care accurately using the Epic EMR system
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient recovery
