Job Summary
PACU Nursing Outpatient Services Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized post-anesthesia and surgical recovery care within an outpatient setting. Candidates will utilize their skills across multiple outpatient units, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and Pre-operative Clinic, with shared on-call responsibilities.
Job Details
Position Description: Recruiting for an RN to start ASAP in a PACU role with experience in Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion. The schedule is four days of ten-hour shifts, with a variable schedule and shared on-call responsibilities for PACU.
Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid RN license; minimum of two years of experience in outpatient surgical or anesthesia recovery settings such as PACU, Pre- and Post-operative care, or SSU. Charge nurse experience is preferred.
Schedule: Dayshift, ten hours per day, forty hours per week.
Additional Information: Responsibilities include floating across outpatient departments, peri-operative assessment, patient education, and recognizing post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
