Position Overview
nWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be essential in providing high-quality nursing care to patients requiring intermediate-level care.
Schedule & Shifts
n Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week
Shift: Day shift, with 12-hour shifts from 07:00 - 19:00
Weekend Rotation: Required
On-call: Not required
n Nurse-Patient Ratios
nThe typical nurse-patient ratio in the PCU is 1:4-5, ensuring that you can provide adequate attention to each patient.
Qualifications
n Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a PCU, including IV start competency
ACLS and BLS certifications are required
Charting experience required with Meditech
n Floating & Scheduling Flexibility
n Float within scope to meet facility needs is expected
No block scheduling greater than 3 or 4 shifts is available
n Additional Information
n Open to local candidates within a 60-mile radius of the facility
Requests for time off (RTO) must be approved and documented prior to assignment start
Guaranteed hours are set at 40 hours per week
Parking on-site is free
Scrubs: Any color allowed; OR/L&D/Cath Lab scrubs are provided

nThe facility is an Acute Care Hospital with 149 staffed beds and is designated as a Level 3 Trauma center. As a Magnet-designated and teaching institution, the facility is committed to providing exceptional care and ongoing education for its staff.
