Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatrics OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Title: Pediatrics OR - Operating Room Location: Macon Georgia 31201 Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: 10hr Day Shift - 40 Shift Information: 7a-5p Clinical Interviewing- No On Call, Call Back Requirements: 1 weeknight and every 5th weekend Weekend Rotation: call every 4th weekend Holiday Requirements- Floating Requirements: None About Facility: How many licensed beds: 637 Trauma Designation: Level 1 Teaching Hospital: Yes Chest Pain Center: Yes Stroke Center: Yes Unit Information: Beds: 4 OR Rooms Minimum Years of Experience required: 2 Will you accept a first-time traveler: yes Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Surgical Patients 18 years old and under (some special needs of all ages ex: dental) Patient Ratios: RN: 1:1 Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: RN License BLS and PALS Skills required: OR skills - circulating surgical cases Support within the Department: CNA: Duties: Yes CAN- assist with VS, Glucose Checks, baths, transporting patients as needed (Hospital has designated Transport Team) ; obtain blood from blood bank Receptionist/HUC: Charge nurse: yes- each unit Phlebotomy: Nurse draws labs IV/VAT Team: NO IV Team Resource Nurse: No RT 24/7: yes Hospitalist 24/7: yes Intensivist 24/7: yes Telemetry monitoring/tech: OR Monitoring Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC IV Pump: Alaris Med dispensing: Pyxis Monitors: Phillips Unit specific equipment: VS3 vital sign monitors, Nova Glucose Stat Strips Cardiac Telemetry monitoring Portable vital signs monitors (Dynamapp) Glucommander Suction machine General OR equipment Floating: To PACU in Peds as needed Orientation (facility and unit): 1 day orientation with work on educational modules 2 days departmental Scheduling: Weekend rotation: call every 4th weekend On call: If so, what is that schedule: Call every 4th weekend and 1 week night per week Holiday Expectations: RTO Requests: Manager approval Shift times: 7a-3p; 8a-4p; 7a-4p; 8a-5p Schedule cycle: ex) every 6 weeks Other notes: Scrub Color: RN- Surgical Green- scrub exchange system (scrubs issued) Parking: Free parking lots around campus but also does have paid parking garage available - /month paid in advance for a total of for a 13-week contract Unit Culture: busy but work as team TB_RN TalentBurst, Inc Job ID .
