Job description
Registered Nurse (RN) – PICU
The RN in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) delivers life-saving care to critically ill or injured children. This position requires specialized skills to monitor vital signs, administer complex treatments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide intensive nursing care to pediatric patients with severe, life-threatening conditions.
Monitor vital signs and use advanced equipment to track patient status.
Administer specialized medications, IV infusions, and interventions as prescribed.
Communicate with pediatric intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other specialists.
Educate and offer emotional support to families navigating critical pediatric care.
