# Join Our Dynamic PICU Team – RN Opportunity Awaits!nn## Job Description:nn- **Location:** Asheville, NCn- **Shift:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AMn- **Unit Name:** Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)n- **Number of Beds:** 9n- **Patient Ratios:** n - PICU: 1 RN to 1-2 patientsn - Stepdown: 1 RN to 2-3 patientsn- **Unit Staffing Description:** n - Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) available from 9 AM to 9 PMn - Tech shared with PICUn- **Document System:** Cernern- **Scheduling Requirements:** Must work 3 weekends in a 6-week schedulen- **Floating Policy:** May float to Pediatrics (Peds) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)n- **Required Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in PICUn- **Required Certification:** PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)n- **Dress Code:** All Navy, all white, or Navy pants with white topsnn## Unit Specifics:n- **Equipment Used:** Alaris pumpsn- **Procedures Performed:**n - IV startsn - Cathsn - Holding for lumbar punctures (LPs)n - Central line dressing changesn - Hemodynamic monitoringn - Trach caren - Tube feeding and placementn - ICP monitoringn - Ventilator managementnn## Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
