Job Description & Requirements
Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, days, nights
Employment Type: Travel
Tell us about the unit(s): Level II Trauma
Number of Beds -15
Number of Staff –38
Type of staff: Day Shift –Intensivist, RN, Desk Tech, RT, Dietary, Case Management
Night Shift - Intensivist, RN and RT
Patient Ratios –2:1
Type of equipment – General CR Monitoring
EMR – Meditech / CPN
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role
Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PICU RN experience
BLS & PALS
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
CRRT Experience
APHON
Pediatric Teaching Hospital Experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
IV starts and blood draws
TPT placements
Best personality Fit:
Works well under pressure and in a teaching hospital
Patient care experience is a priority
