### Join Our Team as a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN!nn**Job Description:**nn- Location: Asheville, NC n- Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM n- Unit: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) n- Beds: 9 n- Patient Ratios: n - PICU: 1 RN to 1-2 patients n - Stepdown: 1 RN to 2-3 patients nn**Unit Specifics:** n- Scrub Color(s): Navy blue or white n- Documentation System: Cerner n- Staffing Description: n - HUC available 9 AM - 9 PM n - Tech shared with PICU n- Scheduling Requirements: Must work 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule n- Floating Policy: Will float to Pediatrics and NICU nn**What We're Looking For:** n- Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of PICU experience n- Certifications: PALS nn**Advanced Skills Not Required:** n- Routine procedures performed on the unit include: n - IV starts n - Catheterizations n - Holding for lumbar punctures n - Central line dressing changes n - Hemodynamic monitoring n - Tracheostomy care n - Tube feeding and placement n - ICP monitoring n - Ventilator management nn**Dress Code:** n- All Navy, All White, or Navy pants and White tops nn**Why Join Us?** n- Self-Scheduling n- Recognition as one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals ) n- "A" Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade n- Magnet® Designation for nursing excellence n- Work in a dynamic environment with advanced equipment and technology nn**Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
