Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Oakland, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse in a hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized critical care for pediatric patients, with a focus on cardiac care, at a facility requiring a minimum of five years of PICU experience with cardiac expertise. Job Details: Required Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse in the state where care is provided, with a minimum of five years of continuous PICU experience (not floating) and cardiac care expertise. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certifications are required. Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field. Additional Information: The role demands a strong background in pediatric critical care, specifically with cardiac cases. Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is also required. The start date is 11/02/2026, with an end date of 01/30/2027.
