Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Scheduled | On-Call as Needed | Standby Expected Approximately 4 Days per Month
Key Responsibilities
Provide pre- and post-operative recovery care for cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology patients
Assist with bedside procedures in the ISSU
Apply crisis management expertise in the care of cardiac patients
Float within the hospital as needed based on unit demands
Participate in standby coverage as expected by the unit schedule
Required Qualifications
Valid California RN License (required at time of submission)
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of pre- and post-interventional procedural care experience
Background experience in ICU or ER demonstrating crisis management expertise in cardiac patient care
Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with cardiac and vascular patient populations in a procedural setting
Familiarity with interventional radiology recovery protocols
Two supervisor references preferred
