Job Summary
nPre-Operative (Pre Op) Registered Nurse position in Tracy, CA. This role involves providing individualized patient care, patient and family education, and coordinating interdisciplinary plans of care in a busy surgical environment. The nurse will work days, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
nJob Details
nnCertifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: CA RN Licensure, 3 years of experience, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar setting.
nSchedule: Days shift, 8 hours, minimum of 40 hours per week.
nRequired Qualifications: CA RN Licensure, 3 years of experience, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and at least 3 years of experience in a relevant clinical setting.
nPerforms routine assignments and develops competence by performing structured work assignments.
nAccountable for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
nDelivers holistic, individualized care to all patients in the assigned area.
nDevelops, implements, and manages interdisciplinary care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
nFosters collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely communication.
nPreferred Qualifications: Ambulatory surgery/phase II experience within the past 2 years, EPIC electronic medical record experience.
nFloat: Float rotation may be required.
nSubmission Requirements: Candidates must upload Nursys verification of CA RN Licensure within the last 2 weeks and applicable certifications with valid expiration dates. Two references obtained within the last year are required.
