Job Summary
Preoperative Registered Nurse (PRE OP) Tracy, CA. This role involves providing comprehensive preoperative nursing care within an acute care facility. The position requires delivering holistic patient care, coordinating interdisciplinary plans, and ensuring patient safety and education prior to surgical procedures.
Job Details
Location: Tracy, CA
Certifications: CA RN Licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS
Education and Experience: 3 years of nursing experience, minimum of 0 years specifically in Preoperative Nursing, with at least 2 years of healthcare experience preferred.
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities: Performs routine assessments, develops competency through structured work assignments, manages patient care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors, and maintains effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Additional Information: Experience with Ambulatory Surgery/Phase II within the past two years is preferred. EPIC charting experience is required.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must upload Nursys verification of CA RN licensure within the last two weeks, along with applicable certifications with valid expiration dates, and provide two references within the past year.
