TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Radiology for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.

We're looking for Radiation Therapists for an immediate travel opening in Columbus, OH. The right Radiation Therapist should have 1 year of experience. Read below for more requirements.
Responsibilities
Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment
Position patients accurately and comfortably for each treatment session
Verify treatment settings and patient identity before delivering therapy
Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
Use imaging technology (e.g., CT, X-rays) to guide accurate treatment delivery
Document treatment details and maintain accurate patient records
Communicate effectively with physicians, dosimetrists, and other team members
Educate patients and families on procedures, side effects, and care during treatment
Inspect, maintain, and calibrate radiation therapy equipment regularly
Follow strict radiation safety protocols for both patients and staff
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as a Radiation Therapist. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and hold the ARRT (T) National Certification. State licensure may be required.
Radiation Therapists should be able to stand for long periods, work precisely with complex equipment, and offer compassionate care in emotionally sensitive situations.
Requirements:
BLS, ARRT (T), 2 Years. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
