Job Summary:
nRadiology Nurse specializing in diagnostic imaging procedures in a healthcare facility setting. This position involves providing pre, intra, and post-procedural care for various radiology procedures including nuclear medicine, MRI, mammography, CT, ultrasound, and general radiology. The role demands procedural experience and the ability to support a dynamic imaging department with clinical expertise and operational efficiency.

nnLocation: Not specified
nSchedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with no call requirement.
nRequired Qualifications: Valid license to submit; willingness to wait for licensure; BLS (American Heart Association) certification; a minimum of 2 years of diagnostic registered nurse (RN) experience; procedural experience in radiology; proficiency with electronic medical records and/or Picture Archive & Communication System (PACS); knowledge of Cerner software & hardware; ability to start IVs.
nPreferred Qualifications: Prior experience working within the organization is required to be noted at submission; experience with radiology modalities including MRI, Mammo, CT, US, Nuc Med, General Radiology; familiarity with hospital-specific orientation protocols.
nAdditional Information: The candidate must have experience with patient care before, during, and after radiology procedures, including nuclear medicine studies. Must be capable of floating to any modality within radiology as needed. No radiology supervisor or lead technician responsibilities are included.
nFloat: Float rotation may be required.
