Job Summary Telemetry Nurse (TELE) The organization is seeking an experienced Telemetry Nurse to join their team. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions according to state Board of Nursing standards. The position includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Job Details
Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS certification, at least 1 year of nursing experience in a similar setting.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities include performing health assessments, providing health education and counseling, executing therapeutic and treatment plans, and referring patients for further evaluation when necessary.
May be required to float to other telemetry units, orthopedic surgical trauma units, or acuity-adaptable units based on operational needs and qualifications.
