Floating: May float to a similar unit based on census and staffing needsn

Job Requirements
n Active Registered Nurse licensen
At least 1 year of recent telemetry nursing or acute care nursing experience requiredn
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications requiredn
Cerner experience preferredn
Comfortable working in a high-acuity cardiac telemetry unitn
Experience managing patient ratios in the 1:5-7 range preferredn
Ability to care for adult and geriatric patientsn
Willingness to float to a similar clinical unit when neededn
First-time travelers may be consideredn
Responsibilities
n Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to telemetry and cardiovascular patientsn
Monitor patients with chest pain, CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, stroke, and cardiac arrhythmiasn
Interpret telemetry rhythms and respond quickly to changes in patient conditionn
Support patients receiving cardiac drips, blood products, and other monitored therapiesn
Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure safe, coordinated caren
Perform thorough assessments, document accurately in Cerner PowerChart, and communicate updates clearlyn
Follow unit protocols for isolation precautions, IV therapy, oxygen support, and rapid response readinessn
Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and strong clinical judgment throughout the travel assignmentn
