Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse - Telemetry Specialty - Location: Ocean University Medical Center. This position involves providing essential nursing care within the telemetry unit, focusing on patients requiring cardiac monitoring and non-titratable drips. The role supports the healthcare organizations commitment to delivering evidence-based, patient-centric care.
Job Details
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ASN from an accredited nursing school, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS from the American Heart Association, NIHSS, Telemetry Certification or Competition Exam REQUIRED, minimum 2 years recent telemetry experience required, minimum 1-year nursing experience, 36 hours per week, shift is day (6:45 am - 7:15 pm).
Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours, 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include evaluating patients, assisting physicians, developing and implementing individualized care plans, performing therapeutic interventions, managing patient care, and documenting according to standards.
Required skills include telemetry, cardiac rhythms, non-titratable drips.
Flexibility to float to other inpatient telemetry units may be required.
Submission of all required certifications and licensure documentation is necessary for consideration.
