Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.

Job Summary:
Cardiology Telemetry Nurse (RN) Richmond, VA. This position involves providing specialized nursing care on a Cardiac Telemetry unit, managing patient monitoring, EKG reading, and responding to cardiac events. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional with experience in telemetry and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid BLS and ACLS certifications; minimum of 3 years of nursing experience; relevant nursing degree; must have telemetry experience and EKG reading skills; VA or comparable state licensure; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple patient transfers, admissions, and discharges.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to prioritize and modify patient care based on changing conditions; proficient in timely communication with physicians regarding patient status.
Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The unit features 25 beds and requires team-oriented, positive healthcare professionals. The role involves assisting with cardiac procedures, patient monitoring, and emergency response, with a focus on excellent patient care and collaboration.
