Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Oakland, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and cardiac telemetry patients. The RN will assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to promote patient safety and positive outcomes.
Requirements:
Active California RN license. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Telemetry, cardiac telemetry, and Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience. First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience. Must be willing to float to other UCSF facilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Telemetry/Cardiac Telemetry, Emergency Department (ER) Holding experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient assessments and implement individualized nursing care plans. Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize abnormal findings. Administer medications and treatments safely. Monitor patient progress and escalate clinical concerns appropriately. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Provide patient education and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Float to other UCSF facilities as required. Schedule: 12-hour day shifts. Exact rotation to be confirmed with the facility. Travel Tele RN needed at UCSF Hyde in San Francisco for 12-hour day shifts. Requires an active CA RN license, BSN, AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and Telemetry/Cardiac Telemetry/MS-Tele experience. First-time travelers accepted with 5 years of clinical experience. Must be willing to float to other UCSF facilities; ER Holding experience preferred.
