Contract | Rotating Days/Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 48 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a float pool capacity, supporting multiple Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
Participate in weekly orientations as part of onboarding to the float pool program
Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic health records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care across assigned units
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Massachusetts
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MS Tele) RN experience required
Strong telemetry monitoring skills required, as position supports multiple units
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
No time-off requests will be approved during the assignment period
Local candidates are welcome
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior float pool or multi-unit nursing experience
Ability to adapt quickly to varying patient populations and unit environments
Strong communication and critical thinking skills in fast-paced acute care settings
