Job Summary
nUtilization Review Nurse, Correctional Health Services, Rikers Island, NY This role involves conducting clinical and medical record reviews within a correctional health setting. The position requires an active New York State Registered Nurse license with experience in utilization review, working onsite in a secure environment.
nJob Details
nnRequired Qualifications: NYS RN License, AHA BLS, 1 year of non-acute utilization review experience, primary source verification, and active on-site clearance.
nSchedule: Days shift, 7.5 hours per day, minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
nAdditional Information: Onsite role in Rikers Island, with PREA and DOC clearance required.
nCertifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
nResponsibilities: Conduct investigation and clinical/medical record reviews related to utilization review in a correctional health environment.
nSubmission Requirements: Candidates must have at least 1 year of RN experience, with at least the specified certifications, and be able to pass the required clearances.
