Job Summary
Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Specialty Location: Sierra View Would Care Center. This position involves providing specialized wound care services within a healthcare facility, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through skilled nursing interventions. The RN will operate under departmental leadership, adhering to hospital and nursing standards.
Job Details
Position Description: Under the direction of department leaders, responsible for patient care in the Wound Care Center, utilizing organizational, planning, implementing, and evaluating skills.
Certifications, Education, and Experience: CA license and BLS certification are required. A wound care certification is preferred. A Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university or 1-2 years of wound care experience is preferred. Med surg, home health, or wound care experience is advantageous.
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, including holidays, call-backs, weeknights, weekends, and on-call.
Additional Information: Must be able to work scheduled hours and participate in emergency and community disaster responses as a disaster service worker under California Emergency Services Act. No local bill rates; previous permanent staff are not eligible for travel assignments. Travel is not required for this position.
