Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum process in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Experience Requirements
2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred
Candidates with less experience will be considered
Labor and preterm labor
Unit includes 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
Responsibilities may include: Circulate, OB-GYN, Post-Op, Pre-Op, Scrub, Low-Risk Labor and Delivery
Special Procedures
Blood and blood product administration
Use of cooling/warming blankets
Drains management
Medication management including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
Special Equipment & Care Areas
Attendance at all deliveries
Support for GYN surgeries
Staffing ratio: 1:1 to 1:3
Float as needed to Post-Partum or NICU based on skill set
