Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital assignment, requiring 1+ year of acute care experience and a South Carolina or Multistate Compact OT license.
Details
Acute inpatient occupational therapy unit within a hospital-based setting
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p
Weekend coverage required approximately 1-2 times per month
Holiday coverage as needed
Epic charting system used
Requirements
Current South Carolina or Multistate Compact Occupational Therapist license required at start of contract (license required if applicable)
BLS certification required
NBCOT certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
Prior travel experience required
Valid driver's license and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
Provide occupational therapy services to acute inpatient hospital patients
Red scrub top and black scrub pants required
Free parking available on-site
During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for facility approval
Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted for this position
