Description American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, requiring EPIC charting experience and Level 1 Trauma background.
Details Acute care hospital therapy department
Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p
Weekend shifts as needed and holiday shifts on a rotation
Must be willing to float as needed
Treats patients of all ages
EPIC charting experience required
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required
OT license required if applicable
BLS certification required
Level 1 Trauma experience required
EPIC EMR charting experience required
Additional Information Evaluate and treat patients of all ages, serving as a clinical resource for staff and students
Design individualized plans of care integrating goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge planning
Provide supervision to COTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory standards
Utilize standardized outcomes measures and complete documentation per regulatory and organizational standards
Collaborate with patients, families, and the medical team throughout the rehabilitation process
Provide patient and family education/training as needed
RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted
