Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient rehabilitation role requiring 2 years of experience and Epic EMR familiarity.
Details
Outpatient occupational therapy setting
Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Usual days off are Saturday and Sunday
Treats patients across all age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Includes evaluation and treatment of Swingbed patients
EPIC EMR used
8 hours of non-billable orientation required
Requirements
License required if applicable
M.S. or B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy
NBCOT registration required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience required
1+ year of OT work experience desirable but not required
Additional Information
Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy programs to restore physical and cognitive function
Perform work site and ergonomic analyses with written recommendations
Design, fabricate, and fit adaptive devices such as splints and braces
Supervise Rehab Aides, Students, Rehab Secretary/Aide, and COTA staff as needed
Collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation team to coordinate patient care
Document and report patient progress after each treatment session
Provide therapy services for Home Health and contracted facilities or groups
Accepts local candidates
Required modules must be completed prior to starting
