Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Wichita, Kansas.

Number of Beds: Approximately 250 active consults per day

Number of Staff: FTEs)

Staff Composition: 2:1 OTR to COTA ratio

Patient Ratios: Typically 8-10 patients assigned to OTRs per day

Type of Equipment: General acute care DME

EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile Required Skills:

Minimum 6 months of acute care hospital OT experience

Active Kansas licensure

BLS certification

Preferred Skills:

Trauma experience

Comprehensive stroke experience

Typical Procedures:

OT evaluations

OT treatments

Ideal Candidate Profile

Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and high accountability

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of acute care practice

This unit features a large therapy team operating in a complex acute care environment with a diverse range of diagnoses. The team promotes a collaborative atmosphere and offers flexible scheduling to accommodate individual needs.
