Occupational Therapist - General, Monterey, CA. This travel, temporary assignment starts on 11/30/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,468 to $2,691, with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for a geriatric population and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving activities of daily living, motor skills, cognition, and safety
Implement evidence-based OT interventions to restore, improve, or maintain client function and independence
Reassess progress regularly, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care, modify plans, and support discharge planning
Educate clients and families on home programs, safety strategies, and equipment needs; provide training on adaptive devices when appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record and adhere to regulatory and facility requirements
Requirements
Active California Occupational Therapy license or eligibility per state requirements
Ability to work in a geriatric, skilled care setting
Availability to start on 11/30/2026 and commit to a 13-week assignment
Strong communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
Proficiency with documentation in electronic health records
