Overview
Occupational Therapist, General, located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Start date 11/30/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility. Weekly pay range is $2,205–$2,351 per week with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Shift runs 08:00–16:30. This assignment requires OT services in a long-term care setting and is managed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations, establish goals, and design individualized treatment plans for SNF residents.
Implement evidence-based interventions to improve activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and upper-extremity function; provide adaptive equipment recommendations as appropriate.
Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in the resident’s chart per department standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including families and caregivers, to support resident goals and participate in care planning meetings.
Reassess resident progress regularly; adjust goals and interventions; support safe transfers and discharge preparation.
Maintain compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies during therapy sessions.
Requirements
Active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure
Degree from an ACOTE-accredited OT program (Master’s or Doctorate)
NBCOT certification or current eligibility
Experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
Ability to work a 13-week travel assignment and comply with the 08:00–16:30 schedule
Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
