Job description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health position requiring 1+ year of home health experience and OASIS proficiency (license required if applicable).
Requirements
Current CA OT license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of home health experience required
OASIS experience required
BLS certification required
Must have own transportation
Responsibilities
Home health setting covering the Salinas/Watsonville territory
Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 5x8 schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
1:1 patient ratio, visiting up to 6 patients per day with a productivity target of 30 points
Weekend coverage as needed, no on-call requirements
EMR system is Home Health MD
Documentation tools provided by the facility and must be returned upon assignment completion
Timely communication and documentation are essential
System groups clients to minimize drive time, though occasional travel of 50+ miles may be required
Business casual attire or scrubs accepted
Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
No parking costs
Local candidates accepted
First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
