Job Summary:
nOccupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) This opportunity is based at a short-term acute care facility. The position involves providing inpatient occupational therapy services, with a focus on adult patient care, including orthoneuroicutelemed surg conditions. The role requires clinical expertise in adaptive equipment, assessment, and patient education to support recovery and safety.
nJob Details:
nnSchedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, from 11/02/2026 to 01/25/2027.
nRequired Qualifications: Valid State Licensed Occupational Therapist license, minimum 2 years of experience, BLS certification, adult care experience, adaptive equipment skills, and knowledge of hip fracture, total hip replacement, knee injuries, and total knee replacement. Ability to lift and transfer patients, perform assessments, and provide patient and family education.
nAdditional Job Requirements: Experience in adult orthoneuroicutelemed surg population, EPIC charting system experience preferred. Certification in BLS required.
nPreferred Qualifications: EPIC charting experience, hospital or community hospital experience, and familiarity with trauma-level care.
nResponsibilities: Provide inpatient occupational therapy evaluations and treatments, assist with patient education, safety and injury prevention, and documentation required per facility standards.
nFloat: Float within scope between Progress West/St Peters may be required.
