Job Summary
nOccupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) The organization is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the inpatient team at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized therapy services to adult patients with a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions, including post-op hand and upper extremity care, and requires collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.
nJob Details
nnCertifications: BLS, Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) cert hand therapist, American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Hand/Upper Extremity certification.
nEducation Requirements: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy.
nLocation Requirements: CA license in hand.
nYears of Experience: 3 years.
nSchedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
nPreferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience, trauma level II experience, and previous charge and patient ratio experience.
nAdditional Information: The role involves manual therapy, custom orthoses fabrication, therapeutic exercise programs, and use of modalities including ultrasound, TENS, and biofeedback. Reassignment to multiple facilities within a 75+ mile radius may occur, and the candidate may float between units.
nSubmittal Requirements: Must include two references from most recent employer, and documentation of all previous employment with University of California medical facilities if applicable.
