Job description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an acute inpatient rehab unit, requiring 2+ years of adult outpatient/acute experience and Hawaii state licensure.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience working with adult patients in outpatient and acute settings
Current BLS certification from American Red Cross required
Hawaii state license required by start of assignment (license required if applicable)
Responsibilities
Acute inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation therapy setting
Day shift, Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
EMR systems used include Net Health Therapy and Meditech
Must be able to work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as needed based on hospital operations
Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by the ordering physician
Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs
Independently manage a full caseload and determine need for re-evaluations based on insurance authorization
All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start
